How is the York Test Conducted?
You may conduct the York Test in 2 ways:
You may conduct the test at the Yorktest Bahrain office or at an affiliated company with "York Test Authorized Implementer Certificate" by giving your blood sample.
If you are living outside Bahrain, you can order the kit from us and we will send it to an address provided by you. Then you can ship the sample back to us.
If you are in Bahrain you can call us to pick up the blood sample from your place or you may send it to us via local courier.

Carrying out the York Test: A step by step guide
Step 1
Wash your hands with soap.
Step 2
Wipe your hand with the sterile paper provided.
Step 3
Take out the plastic part at the top of the needle.
Step 4
Place the needle on your finger tip and press the top part.
Step 5
Apply pressure on your finger in order to get a large drop of blood.
Step 6
Let the blood be absorbed fully into the cotton stick.
Step 7
Place the cotton stick inside the plastic tube.
After following these steps, place the transparent tube inside the green box.

The antibodies being analyzed from the blood sample will not be affected by cold or heat. It is not required to keep the sample at a cold place, however, do not leave under direct sunlight. The antihistaminic medications do not affect the test result. The test can be taken at any time, before or after meal.
